Sarah Gunderson, MA, LPC

Sarah completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Concordia University Chicago. Sarah works with all ages; young children through aging seniors and welcomes clients of all backgrounds and lifestyles. Sarah’s approach is collaborative and goal-driven seeking to empower clients to create opportunity and choice in their lives. Sarah’s experience as a teacher and parent combined with a variety of roles within educational and not-for-profit institutions has put Sarah on a path toward her goal of achieving expertise in ADHD, executive functioning and school success.

Sarah incorporates cognitive-based techniques along with trauma-informed care to facilitate change and help clients overcome obstacles and crises. Sarah is passionate about family dynamics and marriage, parenting, attachment issues, and building support networks. Sarah’s calm and positive demeanor lends itself to a holistic, mindfulness-based approach
